Time is Ticking!

On December 13, 2011 at approximately 1:30 a.m. I will be boarding a plane on my way to Utah, to continue my education by attending SLCC, time seems to be flying by (pun not really intended, but is actually kind of funny). I am excited to move forward with my life, but I also will very much miss Alaska for several reasons. Including, but not limited to, I have an extremely supportive family up here and they are simply fantastic; HOCKEY, I realize that they do have hockey in Utah but it is not quite the same. Also, the farm it is strange how much a place grows on you despite the fact that you spent clountless hours weeding row after row, but I must say driving the tractors is a blast!! I have also met some pretty awesome people here and will miss them dearly, but I cannot forget that this I'm not really leaving for good, merely just saying farewell. I will definiteley be coming back to visit as often as cercumstances allow. In fact my best friend Sam and I are already begining to plan an Alaska trip this summer, and I really hope that it will work out.

One thing I do love about Utah though is that you can make trips to Moab, and Park City, St. George, even Idaho and Wyoming in a very reasonable amount of time with very little notice, I defintiely look forward to spotaneous trips to awesome places with my best friends and hopefully that includes a lot of camping. With school and work it might be a little difficut, but I know that it's definitely doable and so worth it! I am also very excited that I will have the opportunity to go to downtown Salt Lake City to see the lights again this year, it is one of my favorite Christmas time traditions. I am a pretty lucky girl, I get to get an appartment with my best friends, go to school and be close to my family. Yeah, life is good. I am exteremly grateful for my friends and family and the awesome support they give me. I am really excited to see what this chapter in my life will bring!! New Plan!!! (acctually we'll call it an edited plan)

Can you tell I'm excited for winter?? For all of you Utah people it's still not quite winter but here in Beautiful Alaska winter has begun!!!!! Life is great hockey season is started!! Anyways this Spring I'm going to Salt Lake Communtiy College (SLCC) and getting an Apartment with my best friend Samantha Taylor!!!! Yeahhhhh!!! I'm super excited plus SLCC is much, MUCH cheaper!!! It'll be awesome!!! :D I simply cannot wait!!!! I plan to make the best of the time that I have left here in Alaska because I love it and seriously, it's not everyday that you can see 10 moose in one given place in Utah!!! There are so many things I still want to do while I'm here...we'll see how many of them actually happen though. I still have yet to go fishing!!! This fact saddens me, but I will get to see my fair share of Hockey games!!! :) My Uncle's Team MAYHEM!!!!! Woot Woot!! Hopefully I'll get to go to an Alaska Aces game before I leave! As I look at my life now, I realize that I have more potential than I ever thought possible. With that kn0wledge I am super excited to pursue my dreams and go on lots of exciting adventures!!! We'll all hope that everything works out. In the words of David Cook "This is the time of my life!" Right this very moment I am talking to my bestie Samantha Taylor and she is driving looking for a McDonald's!! She was really stressed about it and now she is un-stressed because she found one and is getting food RIGHT NOW!!!! She is ♪♫bah dah ba ba ba lovin life♪♫ Yeaaaahhhhhh!!!! I'm super excited for what life has in store for me!!!! Until later...Bye <3

My First Alaskan Winter!!!!! :D

See that white stuff??? That is geniune ALASKA snow!! That's right!! Winter has arrived!!! I am super excited...and nervous for the my first Alaskan winter!!! It's gonna be awesome! Why you ask? Because I'm gonna make it awesome! I am currently trying to get things ready so I can go to University of Alaska Anchorage in the spring! I'm going to get my Associates Degree!! Can you tell I'm excited?? After which I hope to become a Flight Attendant since I will be 21, If all goes as planned, that is, and most Airlines hiring age is 21 for Flight Attendants. I know the Flight Attendant jobs are always in high demand, but I strongly believe that I can do it. My family and friends are the best support system ever, and I know that when I'm feeling down they'll lift me up just like they always do! :) I really can't wait to find out what school, life and ALASKA has in store for me in the near future. I'm also trying to find another job since work at the farm is really slowing down. It is coming more and more apperant that I'm an adult and have to make adult decisions for my life, a little nerve racking?? Yes!! I'm loving it though. I'm so happy that I've decided to start my life here in Alaska and I know that it'll bring great things to my life. I just need to work hard for what I want and keep my goals in mind! Can you tell I'm feeling really motivated right now? Maybe it's side effects from the snow. Haha I'm kidding but I just hope this feeling stays with me as I work towards my goals!! Okay, well I'm going to make myself some lunch :) I'll write some more tomorrow, or at least I'll try!! ;)

Obviously, I'm not the best blogger ever. Haha, but I am trying. :) Recently I found out I'm moving to ALASKA on May 29th :) I'm sooo excited!! Time is just going by so fast I can't even believe it. I've been trying to exercise regularly and so far it's working!!! Yay!! :) I am so excited for everything that's going to be happening soon. On the 28th I get to go to Lagoon with my family!! :) I'm pretty excited. There is just so much going on. I don't really know what to say at this point other than...Have a fabulous day :) I will try to remember to post something tomorrow. :) I need to go exercise, it's gonna be awesome!!

:) Keeping it going

Well life is good. It's been quite a while since I've posted anything and I'm trying to get back in the habit. I'm moving to Alaska next month and I simply can not wait!! I'm so excited! My friends and family are so supportive of my decision I definitely couldn't do something this big without them. For those of you who didn't know I moved in with my friend Shanae a little over a month ago to help her with graduating early since she was on home and hospital. She graduated and I am so proud of her. She has a lot on her plate right now. Well I'll post something awesome tomorrow!! Smile and have a fabulous day!! :)

Has anyone ever noticed that music is like the best thing ever?? You can find a song that describes how your feeling no matter what!! I just love it!! Today I'm very happy so i'm listening to happy songs like... "Makes Me Happy" by Drake Bell, "It's Gonna Be Me" by N'SYNC, "Chicks Dig It" by Chris Cagle, "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel, "Follow Me" by Uncle Cracker, "Angel" by Shaggy, and well you get the point. Gotta love music!! :) I totally love it!! :) Today is a great day!!! SMILE :D

Life is Good :)

Today I decided Life is Good. I have a job and I am finally getting some hours, I'm earning and saving money towards my Alaska goal, and I have amazing friends and family who support me!! What's not to love?? Don't worry be Happy!!It's a great day to be alive!! The End :) :)

Have you ever noticed that smiling can make the biggest difference in your day?? I have. Smiles affect our lives in so many ways. When you are having a bad day and someone smiles at you your day can become magically better and I love it!! So I have this goal and I call it "Smile everyday even if you don't want to." It'll make things better for you and those around you. :) Don't try to hide your feelings through it though, just try to see things through a more positive prospective and it will improve your life. I am learning so many different ways to live my life to the fullest and happiest I can. Smiling is so easy, so smile!!! :) No one says it better than Annie "You're never fully dressed without a smile!"

Exercise :)

Exercising is great! I always feel so accomplished when I'm done. I also have noticed I'm a much happier person throughout the day when I workout, and who may I ask doesn't love feeling happy? Trying to find something positive about your life everyday also helps. Being happy is the best thing in the world, and with all of the blessings I've received I really have no reason to be unhappy. With friends and family like mine there is never a dull moment. Oh, and you know that saying that says something like "in order to love others, you must first love yourself." Well I've revised it " It is easier to love others when you love yourself." I say that because you can love someone without loving yourself; it really just makes the love for others come out more freely when you love yourself, and taking care of myself physically helps me love myself so that I can better show love to those I care about. At least that's the way I see it. I love life, and I am so lucky that i have such wonderful people around me!! :)

New year :)

This year is gonna be a great year I decided. There are going to be a lot of changes and excitement considering in 4 months I'm planning on moving to Alaska!!! I know it's a huge step considering it's so far away, but I'm excited. My family up there is very supportive of me, and Alaska is gorgeous. I went there to visit and participate in my family's fall harvest festival, and completely fell in love with it. It is most definitely a big step, but I am ready to take it. I'm ready to experience and learn new things (including how to drive a tractor) I am so excited Alaska here I come!! :)
